Fifty is the new eight hundred
Why fifty-word posts? I don’t want to go all Barton Fink trying to create poetry, so it’s not elegance. It’s just that with Twitter and those stupid cell phone appliances clipped to everyone’s ears, nobody has time to read freaking op-ed pieces. Face it: Fifty is the new eight hundred.

It's called efficiency.
If businesses can print USPS-approved postage from a PC, why can’t a manufacturer print bailout cash from the Treasury? If, say, GM needs a billion by close of business, why shouldn’t it be able to print a B-note and have the offsetting ownership stake credited automatically to the federal government?
